National Scottish Rite Scholarships & Fellowships

The Supreme Council of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry also offers several scholarships and fellowships. As these scholarships are available nationwide, they do not require Washington State residency, nor are they restricted to Washington State colleges or universities. These programs are available to United States citizens only for study at schools within the United States.

Shepherd Scholarship
 

 

Scholarship Amount:

  • $2,000 per year for a maximum of four years

 

Eligibility:

  • GPA 3.0 minimum

  • Masonic background required. Member of a Masonic Youth organization, member of Scottish Rite, or a son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter of a current or past member of Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction, in good standing

  • Accepted enrollment at an accredited institution in the United States

 

Application Deadline:

  • All relevant materials must be submitted online between January 17–April 3, 2019.

Sam & Millie Hilburn Scholarship
 

 

Scholarship Amount:

  • $5,000 per year for a maximum of two years

 

Eligibility:

  • Masonic background required. Member of a Masonic Youth organization, member of Scottish Rite, or a son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter of a current or past member of Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction, in good standing

Application Deadline:

  • All relevant materials must be submitted online from January 17–April 3, 2019.

Public School Administration Scholarship

Scholarship Amount:

  • $7,500 per year for a maximum of two years

 

Eligibility:

  • Masonic background required. Member of a Masonic Youth organization, member of Scottish Rite, or a son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter of a current or past member of Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction, in good standing

 

Application Deadline:

  • All relevant materials must be submitted online between January 17–April 3, 2019.

George Washington University Scholarship & Fellowship
 

The Supreme Council sponsors scholarships and fellowships for both undergraduate and graduate study at George Washington University.
